The time has flown by and I have finally had a chance to catch my breath and reflect on the last month.
I finished three new workshops, one at Sage Place in Bandon By The Sea, Oregon, and two at Whidbey Island at the Pacific NorthWest Art School in Coupeville, Washington.
You can see photos of these wonderful workshops
I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities to work with these incredible women who nuture themselves by taking art workshops and let be their guide in the process.
I also finished my first term teaching Mixed Media Art Journaling at the college, and was invited back to teach in the fall. My students were so incredible!
You can see new photos of their journal pages and projects on this Flickr Site.
Due to unforseen circumstances my next workshop down in Southern California has been cancelled. This might be for the best afterall because I now have a chance to dedicate myself to my book and my pursuits here at home.
Collaging, painting, writing, photographing and kayaking on the river.
The little book shown above is called
Nature's Gatherings.
It is a book made up of my stencil designs, (even the bug!), and has been a project that I have loved,
You can read about my designs
and purchase them at the
StencilGirl Website here.
I have three new workshops later in the summer and the fall.
The first is called Decorated Pages and will be held at Fort Collins, Colorado in August, at a lovely coffee shop owned by my sweet friend,Sarah Fishburn and her husband. You can read all about it here!
The next is in Petaluma at Art Is YOU (!!!) This will be my second year there and I am super excited. You can read about this workshop here.
And the third will be in San Antonio, Texas where I am co-teaching a workshop with Leslie Marsh in the beautiful home of Laura Roberts,(also known as Hasty Pearl).
You will be hearing more about these workshops
