I am home after a very special workshop at Little Bird Creations in NYC that I taught with Seth Apter and Elizabeth Wix last weekend. There was definately magic in the air and just watching our students create their beautiful books was magic enough for me to last a long, long time.
This workshop was called, "The Need to Tell Stories" and that is just what happend. Stories in words. Stories in art. Stories in poems and colors. Stories from the heart.
As you look through these photographs what stories do you see?
Thank you to our students, overflowing with creativity and always ready to take on a challenge, to Seth and Elizabeth for sharing in the teaching and to Michelle Luxenburg, owner of Little Bird Creations and host of our workshop!
See more photographs here!
The smiles say it all!! It's the inspiration and the encouragement that students walk away from in taking these classes. Great job!!

I love seeing people together creating, be that students or instructors - as there is so much peace, goodness, healing and strength in each and every action. The memory and feelings will return to each person every time they look at their creation. Amazing work Roxanne!

Roxanne, your post made me linger for a bit, not wanting to click away. Brought me right back to that room, hanging with you all. What you, Seth and Elizabeth bestowed upon us through teaching has ignited my engine. I have a NEED to tell my story and many more to come. Thank you so much for giving to us some of your magical muse fairy dust. You are a great, and I mean GREAT teacher! Seth and Elizabeth too. Love you friend. xo jojo
