roxanne, the colors are wonderful! they brighten a grey day for me!And you looked like you were having fun! thats the best part!

Make it numerous cups of hot tea, and add in creative inspiration from some new source and/or a good book, gentle snowstorm, good music, candles in the afternoon, a full wood and kindling supply, excellent, healthy food already cooked, (sans olive oil cause I'm allergic!) lots of birds at the feeder, a good movie in the evening.... that'd do it - well, good cat cuddles and a few people cuddles, too!

What a great day Roxanne. I may have to sign up for one of these very soon!

oh, i love your perfect day : )
and i fully believe ANYTHING is possible!

This is exactly the perfect jammie day! And I made my first Jammies and they are snuggly. And the way you see the world is such a luminous view. That's what I always think of about your work--luminous!

I'm glad you had such a sweet day.

you've got it! perfection....i'd have to snuggle under a wooly throw with a book for awhile too!

A bit like your jammie day but hot coffee on cold days and iced lemon ginger tea on hot days; carving something for myself with no pressure; jotting ideas while sipping coffee; watching a good TV series in the evening with hubby. A dear friend gave me a copy of Books + Art and I've been dipping into it over the last few months. Love it! As usual your photographs make me happy.

the thing about jammie day is it has no rules, but it should have rain on the roof and windows, or be sultry hot for sitting and sipping and lost hours snuggling reading dozing till time and dream merge into a stillness that restores.

wonderful post

sounds like my kind of day...had two in a row this weekend, felt the perfect sloth, but made art so I was in my happy place. ;-) fun to find someone of like mind. also watched several sundance films...will look for this one.

You pretty much hit it right on the head! I love those days where you don't have anything on your schedule and the day is yours. I'm glad you get to have these days, too. Enjoy every minute of them. Beautiful photos. Such rich color.

hmmm... exercise bicycle, my husband's omelet, hot tea and meditation, some time on the computer and then off to the studio.

What exquisite photos to go along with your jammie day. My jammie day- hmm, never take the time to even think of it--- but as i do now, it would sound like this.... being home alone all day long- inside with a snow storm outside and being toasty warm. I'd put on some michael buble, have some lobster salad and crackers- and my paints and paint brushes in hand and I'd art away and be free for the very whole day! xxoo

so love the golden hue of your everyday life...let alone your perfect jammie day!!

mine is
snuggling with my current favorite read
sending Mr R off for my chai from JavaStop
having all my journaling stuff nearby...
picking it up randomly and working in it
maybe getting dressed...bike riding if warm
snowshoeing if it's cold

thanks for this little dreamy break

Adored seeing your perfect Jammie day, Roxanne! You know how to relax!!
Do you want to hear something funny? We had the Am. Girl book club's PJ party last night and all wore our jams. It was a perfect Jammie night!!
Have a creative day, friend.
