Really lovely photos Roxanne, of a beautiful place. What a delightful spot to sit and daydream the picnic table outside your room is.
The colours of your painting/collage are so fresh and lush.

Ahhhh what a lovely break and your B&B so soothing for your artistic soul. Love your collage, very simple and light, even a bit spiritual I felt. expresses so much about your stay.
Thanks for sharing all of your lovely photos with us.

Wow! How beautiful and peaceful. You have found a slice of heaven it looks like.
And your new collage is delicate and ethereal. Love it.

The look-out spot just outside your room must have been an added pleasure. I love all the little resting places and the unexpected treasures.

I would have loved that trip too Roxanne! Your photos are so nice and your story is perfectly illustrated. Thanks for the bit of calm you planted into my mind.
I came over to tell you that I got that wire at Rio Grande Jewelry Supply. You do have to have a login but I don't know that it's hard to do. They send out HUGE catalogs. Maybe you can just google square sterling silver wire or rectangle wire, which is what I used. You can also try at Santa Fe Jewelers Supply. I like them too.
I like the music you have on here. I just walked away for a while to rotate my laundry and it was very sweet to listen to.
Thanks for your comment to me. Made my day!

Roxanne, what a lovely trip...what a heavenly place! I am sure you drew and rejuiced in these surroundings. We're off to a small mountain lake on Wed...hoping to do the same.

Oh, what a lovely place this is. Sigh. I want to step into each photograph. The area there is so beautiful. Thank you for brightening my day.
P.S. The Lady of the Garden looks like an image from one of your paintings.

Scrolling through your post Roxanne is like reading a beautiful poem-so expressive with thoughts and feelings and color. You take us on a wonderful journey through your magical trip- the flowers, and waters, decorations and hidden surprises where ever you look. Another soulful journey.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your comments on the Barron Storey exhibit. Seeing and being able to hold his journals was like being transposed to another place and time, it was an experience of really reading through someone's private diaries.

Well Roxanne, Thank you for the ride! All your photos express just how beautiful this area is...loved the flowers everywhere and I could have easily finished that fruit for breakfast! I know you had a great time...the photos say so...like the collage too!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I can see that you too are an Adventurous Art Teacher. I think your latest adventure was much more inspiring than the "Just Ducky" tour in Pittsburgh.

Beautiful Roxanne. I have often thought of visiting Salt Spring...do you know that artist Nick Bantock teaches workshops at his studio there on the island? I've often been tempted....
