A summer morning, I took my roses outside because they were making me sneeze, (I think, but I am still sneezing...)
and filled up two muffin tins I recently bought at my favorite antique warehouse with water.
I clipped off some flowers very close to the bud, and started arranging and photographing.
Here is my lovely daughter on a balcony of a restaurant in Ashland.
After lunch we walk through Lithia Park and take photographs.
A new journal page for a book I am (still!) working on about the Klamath River. My publisher is
Fremont Garden Press a small publishing house in Portland,Oregon where I think my work will fit perfectly! Also pictured her is an older pen and ink of some of our flowers and a fan I got at a Sunday market in France last month.
This blog is a wonderful place to get inspired! Catherine's jewelry is unique and multi-textured and sketches and photographs are beautiful glimpses into how this artist creates. I am also very glad to find add her to my daily inspirations!
Since I have all ready received this I would like to pass it on to all of the blogs on my side bar as my favorite places that I inspire me!
