This is a photo of a cabinet where I store art supplies in my studio, (which is really a sunroom off our master bedroom). The bulliten board has pictures of my family and friends, and surrounding it are a collection of peices of art either art by myself or collected.
I have been working on this blog steadily for five days now. With only four days left of my winter break, I am determined to learn everything I can about typepage.com as I can.
A very special thanks to Misty at www.mistymawn.typepad.com and Nina at
www.ornamental.typepad.com for their help and encouragement. Their blogs are beautiful.
I am also working on getting some canvases ready to show a local shop owner in Klamath Falls. Although our city is growing the gallery my work was being shown closed, because rent payments skyrocketed on our Main street.
I have completely enjoyed this break, being with my husband and my son and our pets, listening to music and putting my feet up and watching it snow!
It is a snowy afternoon, the day after Christmas.
We refilled the bird feeders
that hang in the maple outside our front picture windows.
Beyond the tree lies a snowy front yard,
a street and the silver blue Klamath River.
I love to watch the winter songbirds: gold and crimson finches,
sparrows and black capped chickadees.
This is a page that I drew and painted for a book I am working on.
Other paintings are in my photo gallery, A Year by
the Klamath River Watercolors.
